LIMITED COMPANY ACCOUNTANT · CHELTENHAM
Limited Company Accounts and Corporation Tax Support
Annual accounts, Corporation Tax returns and Companies House filing for owner-managed companies, with a clear explanation of the figures, tax due and next steps.
CLEAR, PRACTICAL SUPPORT
Accounts that give you a clearer view of the business
Your annual accounts and Corporation Tax return should do more than meet a filing obligation. They should give you a reliable view of profit, cash, tax and the decisions coming up next.
I prepare accounts and tax returns for small and owner-managed companies, explain the key figures before submission and help you keep the records in a better position for the next year.
For a useful introduction to the process, read how to prepare for your first Corporation Tax bill and what expenses a limited company can claim.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Common questions about this service
Every company is different. These answers provide general guidance; I will confirm the correct approach once I understand your records and circumstances.
What information will you need?
This normally includes bookkeeping records, bank statements, sales and purchase information, payroll records, finance agreements and details of any unusual transactions. I will provide a tailored information request.
Can you take over from my current accountant?
Yes. Once you appoint SB Business Consulting, I can request professional clearance and the relevant accounting and tax records from your previous accountant.
Do I need accounts if the company made a loss?
Usually, yes. A limited company normally has annual accounts and filing obligations even where it has made a loss or has little activity. GOV.UK explains the statutory accounts requirement.
When is Corporation Tax due?
The payment deadline is normally separate from the tax-return deadline. HMRC’s Company Tax Returns guidance sets out the current deadlines. I will explain the relevant dates for your company.
Can you also prepare my personal tax return?
Yes. Self Assessment tax return support can be included where required, for example if you receive dividends or have other taxable income.
